This little guy was originally an impulse buy. When I had wanted to temporarily take my glasses off for menial tasks like eating or napping, it was annoying having to keep putting them in and taking them out of their bulky clamp case to protect the lenses. As one does in these days, I hopped on amazon to see what I could find as a solution, and I stumbled across this little guy. He’s perfect. The grooves meant to hold the glasses are deep enough so that your glasses don’t wobble around or slide from side to side, yet they’re also shallow enough so that the glasses rest comfortably on the figurine’s long nose. It’s also durable. It’s not quite full marble/stone, but it definitely has some weight to it so I have found myself even using it as a paper weight to hold the pages of my book back when reading. Moreover, the top of its head is an open hole that’s fairly deep, so you can use it as a mini storage spot. I put little spare screws and replacement nosepads for my glasses in there. It came nicely packaged, surrounded in a foam encasing, and I had no damage when mine arrived. It’s also pretty small, I have attached an image with it next to my webcam and other glass figurine for reference. It doesn’t take up much room on the desk, so you can squeeze it into small spaces. I keep mine right underneath my monitor. I know the animal eye glass holders are pretty popular, but I think this one looks a lot more professional and would would be a perfect little gift for a professor, boss, clinician, or just anyone in general that wears glasses. I’m more of a bookworm and find that this fits my personality better than the animal ones. Overall, I love this little product. It’s a little extra piece of functional equipment that I didn’t even know I needed in my life until I bought it. I will be purchasing another right after I post this review, so that I can have one on my dresser for my sunglasses as well. I 10/10 recommend this product. You won’t be disappointed, and who knows, you may even find yourself giving it a little name after a while.
